Youth Group

Welcome to Central Youth, where students are expected to do only one thing: be themselves! We want everyone that comes to hang with our family to know that you are accepted as you are, and we want to get to know you! Here at Central Youth, we have a bunch of ways for you to get connected, from our weekly Wednesday night services to Video Game Nights and even personal mentorship with Pastor Samuel. Through relationship, fun, and biblical values, our youth group is purposed to meet students where they are and walk through life with them as they grow!

Our motto as a youth group is, “What’s inside will come out.” We believe that whatever is central in our lives will drive us and make us who we are. So at Central Youth, we want to make Jesus Christ central in our lives to let Him drive us and make us to become more like Him. We do this through relationship with students, biblical teaching, and personal mentorship. We don’t focus on simply correcting behavior, however; because that is not what helps us grow closer to Christ. We focus on the heart of each student in our youth group and we look to help them grow, heal and love by the power of Jesus Christ.

Central Youth is a safe, accepting, and fun place to grow in relationship with other people and with God, and this is your invitation! We want to hang out with you and get to know you more, as well as let you know us better too! You will find a family here. We are excited to see you soon!

A Place to Connect

Game Night

Every first and third Sundays of the month, we have our Video Game Nights! From 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., students are invited to come and relax by playing multiple games across many different consoles that are fun for everyone! The purpose of this night is simply to connect students with other students and adult leaders to further build relationships as well as have tons of fun! Video Game Nights are in the youth room at the church from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. every first and third Sundays of the month.

Central Youth is a place meant for students, and we don’t say that lightly. Our youth room is open Tuesday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Students are welcome to come by and use the youth room if they want a place to do homework after school, hang out and have fun, or simply get out of the weather for a few moments. Students are also welcome to come if they just want to talk about things in life with Pr. Samuel (our youth pastor) and have someone that will listen to them. This is a place for students to come and be loved, and we mean that.
