MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. And by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten.

In addition to MOPS, this year we're adding MOMSnext. MOMSnext extends our MOPS group to include pregnant mothers through mothers with elementary-aged children.

MOPS / MOMSnext meet the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month
  6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
(no childcare)

September - May

In 1973, the first MOPS meeting took place in Colorado. A handful of mothers talked, laughed, ate, had a craft demonstration and ended with a short devotional. In this humble beginning, the seeds of the MOPS concept and format were planted. Through friendship, creative outlets and instruction, the women began to understand that “mothering matters.” Today, the same needs for significance are met in MOPS groups across the United States and around the world in over 50 countries.  MOPS build circles of moms who love each other like family. Women around the world are starting MOPS groups in churches, hospitals, YMCAs, homes, coffee shops, correctional facilities, military bases and more.

At Superior MOPS, we’re entering our 6th year providing moms in our community a place to thrive. This year, we’re adding MOMSnext, bringing exciting changes to include more moms. MOMSnext is MOPS for moms with elementary age children.  Whether you’re a soon-to-be, first-time or seventh-time mom, whether you’re an adoptive, young, seasoned, foster or step mom, you are welcome here.

Our 2018/2019 theme is “Find Your Fire”. Join us to rekindle your life through some great DVD lessons and special guest speakers. Our gatherings are a place where moms can meet to share their hopes, fears and insights.

Superior MOPS/MOMSnext meets at Central Assembly in the coffee shop every 2nd and 4th Thursday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm, September through May. We don’t offer childcare, but infants are welcome to join their moms.

Please help us  spread the word in our community and invite a mom.  Encourage moms in your life to join us because mothering matters.
